I have been learning Bharathanatyam since 2004. I am a student and I have completed my Dance Inauguration on August 2010. I am proud to be a disciple of Natya Jyothi Sarayu Sai. I adore the qualities of my Guru.

CONFIDENCE:
This is a big asset our Guru has built in us. As children we were nervous and scared when we joined Srishti Gurucool. Our Guru built in us confidence first before building the Bharathanatyam skill.

PATIENCE:
As our learning process started in Shristi Gurucool, there were several occasions when we did not learn our lessons right due to distractions and our ability to learn. Our Guru perseveringly helped us learn it properly.

TRUE COMPASSION FOR HER SISHYAS:
Our Guru did not confine her guidance to her students only with the dance activity. It is truly amazing that our Guru advised us on maintaining discipline on our other habits and attitude. Our Guru cared for us beyond Shristi Gurucool.

DEDICATION TO EXCELLENCE:
Our Guru wanted us to give the best always and she never wanted us to settle for less. If we do not meet her expectations she has not hesitated to call us for extra classes until we met the required performance.

PRIDE IN STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS:
Our Guru is the first person to come down with a smile and say that we did a good job. This has given us tons of encouragement to reset our performance goals higher.

Needless to say I feel that inauguration was a first step in the learning the art Bharathanatyam and I am currently learning to climb to the next step under the shadow and blessings of my Great Guru Sarayu Sai.
